Land East of Swindon Road, Wroughton

The proposed development would provide high-quality, much-needed new homes (including 30% affordable), to meet a range of local housing needs.  Our proposals would provide a diverse mix of homes, including starter homes for younger families, wheelchair-accessible housing and housing for older people.

Whilst the new homes will be designed to be sympathetic to the local community, we are currently focussing on an outline planning application to Swindon Borough Council – details such as the exact layout and design of new homes will be submitted as part of a “reserved matters” application at a later date.

There is also an opportunity to deliver new community benefits on-site for Wroughton residents. These facilities could include:

• A convenience store 
• An ‘Eco Park’ accessible to the public.
• A number of play spaces and public open space across the site.

Our nature led design will help connect the site with the wider natural environment through the provision of high quality open space. This space will support wildlife habitats, feature new play areas for children, and host recreational spaces to support the heath and wellbeing of all users. We will also be achieving at least 10% biodiversity net gain on-site.
