Land East of Swindon Road, Wroughton

The Site Today

The site lies in a sustainable location to the east of Swindon Road, Wroughton.  It is bounded by the M4 to the north, by the Swindon Road properties to the west, agricultural fields to the east and by new homes to the south.

Access is currently via the Artis Farm buildings near the existing mini roundabout on Swindon Road, and an agricultural access gate just south of the Woodland View entrance.  There are no Public Rights of Way passing through the site; however, the development of the site provides an opportunity to create an ‘Eco Park’ which could be accessed by the public. The site is located outside of the existing settlement boundary, is not subject to any statutory or non-statutory nature conservation designations and was proposed as an allocated site in Swindon Borough Council’s last draft Local Plan.

Please see below some images of the site as it sits today.
